Sales & Business Development Manager
Experience: 4 – 7 Years
Location: Mumbai
Compensation: Rupees 4,00,000 – 8,00,000
B.Tech/B.E. – Electrical with MBA/PGDM
Assist in the development and implementation of marketing plans as needed
Provide timely feedback to senior management regarding performance, marketing and sales plans and sales
forecast
Follow-up of leads and prospects and feedback to senior management on a regular basis
Do competitive analysis and provide accurate information on competitors.
Maintain records of all pricing/quotations, sales and activity reports, monitor, review and report on all marketing
activity and results
Assist in preparation of proposals and presentations
Follow – up with commercial /production teams to ensure timely execution of orders
Payment follow-up with clients to ensure timely collection of all outstanding payments
Be an integral part of product launch team
Help identify and execute the channel strategy including identification of appropriate channel partners
Skills required:
Experience in techno- sales/ marketing
Business Development skills
Relationship Management skills
Confident negotiator and ability to ‘close the deal’
Strong customer / partner relationship management skills
Ability to use own initiative and pay close attention to customer specific requirements
Ability to cope with competing demands and to prioritize tasks
Strong communication skills in all forms including written, oral, email, telephone, and presentation
Ability to identify new business opportunities and do sector specific cold calling
Excellent organizational and time management skills
A positive attitude to dealing with people
Capable of working independently, and having responsibility as an individual
A sound knowledge of the Telecom/IT sector would be a distinct advantage.
