Safety Officer
Job Description :
Plan and Implement programs to eliminate / minimise accidents / incidents at the site, by practicing /implementing GSK EHS Standard guidelines and OE tools & techniques.
Support implementation of appropriate policies, procedures and
* guidelines and ensure compliance to relevant statutory regulations.
Conduct training programmes for staff , workmen and contract workmen
* to improve the safety capabilities and awareness via promotional programmes, events etc
Carry out / facilitate relevant risk assessment, Job Safety Analysis,
* HAZOP for new equipment / systems to eliminate /minimise safety risks.
* Carry out Inspections and internal audits to identify the unsafe acts and unsafe conditions.
* Maintain the Safety Hardware Systems for 100% availability.
* Organize and implement safety promotional activities as required.
* Prepare reports and submit to relevant authorities, on time.
* Support implementation of appropriate policies, procedures and guidelines;
* Participate in the development of emergency or disaster plans for the workplace or the community
Desired Profile :
He should be working as Safety Officer/ Asst. Manager Safety/ Dy. Manager Safety. Person working at process line/manufacturing will be preferred. Should be well versed with computer operation. – Should have fluency in written and spoken Telugu , English . Should possess a degree or diploma in industrial safety from REGIONAL INSTITUTE OF LABOUR
Experience: 4 – 8 Years
