Job Description
To control and manage companies finance and assets as per companies policies, systems and procedures. This includes risk management, insurance and Forex. Screening new projects, conducting feasibility studies and preparing project reports to assess viability of projects, cash flows, fund requirements and evaluating growth opportunities and synergies.
To liaise with Banks and Financial Institutions for setting up credit limits, Short term & Long term borrowings and investments.
To raise Funds for large infrastructure Projects.
To deal with Banks / Consortium of Banks for Short term / Long term Loans and Restructuring of Loans.
To frame hedging Policy and hedging Strategy. Monitoring actual exposures and hedging the same through appropriate instruments like Forward, Option, SWAP.
To do Financial planning in terms of preparation of Short term and Long term cash forecast to enable arriving at borrowing/investment decisions.
To prepare and implement investment policy, investment instruments analysis and performance review. Statutory compliance of all applicable laws, direct and indirect taxes and commercial laws, income tax, excise etc.
To ensure timely, accurate and relevant MIS in order to plan timely effective steps for improvement in various areas. Accounting:
To ensure accurate accounting and preparation and re-conciliation of monthly, annual accounts, Timely preparation and value addition in MPR report, formulation of 3-year profit plan.
Liaison with auditors for statutory audits, internal audits and implementation of audit finding.
Costing: Designing, allocating cost systems in order to assess machine wise contribution profitability and assessing price support to the marketing department and cost control,
To formulate the annual profits plans and conduct periodic reviews.
Talent Management, coaching and development of members of the Finance team.
