Head / Manager – BD (International Operations)
Experience: 6 – 12 yrs
Qualification: Graduate / Post Graduate in Pharmacy / Life Sciences, Desirable – MBA
Skills & Attributes:
Pharma exposure, Knowledge of export / import regulations, Should know and understand the Regulatory requirements for registering products in Europe, procedures for Marketing Authorizations in Europe, Site variations(types, timelines, pre-requisites), handling a various gamut of relationships such as JVs, Sales & Mktg and licensing deals and contracts which we have in Europe. This is vital and critical to this role. Familiar with SCM activities.
Mature and temperamentally suited to handle pressure, Should be extremely good in written and spoken English, good communication skills, good presentation skills and an high energy person.
1. Be a key contact point for European Region
2. Plan product launch internally & with reporting head & customer at least 6 months in advance
3. Work closely with plant planning.
4. Co-ordination with customer for artwork finalization.
5. Obtain POs
6. Monitor timely order generation – SAP entries to trigger sourcing activities.
7. Liaison with Logistics.
8. Follow up with Logistics, R&D, SCM.
9. Follow up on documentation
10. Review all Supply agreements to ensure adherence to contractual commitments
11. Ensure Insurance cover
12. Ensure timely manufacture & shipment of product for launch.
13. Manage payments / receivables.
14. Manage subsequent orders
15. Reconcile accounts – calculate the cost on actuals.
