ER Manager

  • Post graduate in Personnel Management and Industrial Relations preferably with management qualifications.
  • 5-10 years experience in HR function preferably in a continuous process industry.
  • Thorough knowledge in Labour Laws.
  • Trends of Best HR Practices in Industry.
  • Spirit and Operational Excellence.
  • Elements of Compensation Management.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Interact with the workmen unions on a day to day basis including canteen and Hamalies union for smooth and cordial industrial relations to ensure uninterrupted production activities.
  • Provide the required information to the legal advisors, which in turn would help them to represent the organisation in legal issues.
  • Liaise with HO & HR&A Manager with regard to Legal cases.
  • Ensure that all grievances are solved amicably and efficiently.
  • To ensure implementation of requirements under various legislation applicable to the factory to ensure statutory compliance.
  • To assist HR&A manager in negotiating the long-term wage settlement with the workmen union.
  • Initiate disciplinary actions against the delinquent workmen.
  • Prepare 3/1 plan for labour and overhead budgets (opex).
  • Responsible for overall plant security and work with security inspectors in gathering information
  • Organise and Train staff on different behavioral programs
  • Work with teams in inculcating philosophies of GSK spirit and operational excellence
  • Ensure effective systems are in place for good communication

  • Should be able to take up the position of Plant HR Manager in 1-2 years

Compensation: Rupees 14,00,000 – 18,00,000
