MEP Services – Project Engineer / Manager
Location: Bangalore, Mumbai
B.Tech/B.E. – Electrical, Mechanical
Candidates should have a minimum of 5 years experience in MEP project management doing coordination and having hands on site management experience. It would be an added advantage if candidate has worked on Hotel projects or in the hotel industry.
Job Description
- Assist the General Manager – Services in developing the MEP Services for all the upcoming Properties
- Review and provide feedback to design consultants at every design stage of the project (Concept development, Schematic design, Design development and Construction / Tender documentation phase).
- Review and provide feedback on Electrical, Mechanical – HVAC & Plumbing, Life safety, Kitchen equipment, Plant room and other standards relevant to the hospitality industry.
- Review and provide feedback on architectural and interior design concepts. Evaluate and comment Services drawings, BOQs based on interior layouts and functional relationship of spaces in a hotel’s Front of the House (FOH) and Back of the House (BOH) including Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) areas.
- Check and advise regarding the latest technology. Review the technical & commercial advantage of new technology & trends.
- Ensure all applicable hospitality design standards are incorporated in the project.
- Initiate and participate in value engineering (VE) exercise.
- Review tender documents for completeness and check for inclusion of desired design intent.
- Certify drawings to consultant based on company Standards.
- Analysis Technical quotes & Comparisons.
- Visit site & ensure designing is based on site conditions.
