Job description / Mission
We are looking for a Sourcing Engineers to work in SURFACE DRILLING EQUIMENTS Division at Nasik- MAHARASTRA who will report to Sourcing Manager – SDE Division Nasik.
As a Sourcing Engineer you will have following responsibilities :
- To establish strong network of vendors who can deliver zero defect parts which include fabricated parts, weldments, engines, hydraulic parts, wire harnesses, gauges ,switches etc. at competitive price
- To negotiate and execute contracts with the vendors as per the requirement of quality, cost and delivery
- To understand assembly process thoroughly to ensure that the material is delivered just in time
- To plan material as per the requirement of assembly process to support improvement in the flow
Experience requirements
- More than 2 years purchasing experience in global company.
- Preferred responsible commodity: fabrication parts
Knowledge requirements
- Sound knowledge of ERP System like SAP, BPCS, MFG PRO etc
- Should have in depth knowledge of vendor qualification procedures
- Thorough knowledge of tax structure, import procedures are essential
Educational requirements
Degree or Diploma in Mechanical/Production Engineering- DME / BE
AGE BELOW 30 YEARS
MALE OR FEMALE
MINIMUM 2 YRS EXP – 8 YEARS EXP
Personality requirements
- Good team player and communicator
- Self starter, result focused and success oriented
