Regional Manager

M.Sc. / B.Sc., (Agri) from a reputed institution with 15 – 18 years relevant experience in Argo Chemical industry. Fluency in local language (Tamil) is a must. Good understanding of Tamilnadu market. Analytical ability and proven leadership capability. Should have handled a team of sizeable numbers and facilitated team performance.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for conceiving and implementing Sales, Liquidation and Collection strategy for the region

Promote PL product range in the region by conceiving and implementing promotional plans

Implement company’s marketing policy and credit policy without deviation

Expand dealer network in the region by appointing new dealers as required.

Establish good rapport with the existing dealer network by frequently visiting the markets and also by ensuring uninterrupted supply of materials

Prepare Sales / Liquidation targets for each dealer, deploy the targets to them and support them in Liquidation of stocks

Monitor the OB position dealerwise and ensure collection of dues as per the agreed terms

Prepare monthly / quarterly / annual budget for overall expenditure in the region and ensure compliance to the same

Prepare monthly / quarterly / annual plan for increasing profitability in the region and ensure to meet / exceed the target

Motivate the existing Sales team in the region to enable them to deliver superior results and recruit talented hands as necessary.
