Job Description
Purpose :
The main purpose is to have effective control in Regional activity, ensure compliance and support business and credit team
Roles & Responsibilities
System and Control :
• SPA for pay out of schemes as per authorized schemes, Price difference & VAT claims with appropriate supporting
• Review proposal of material return and ensure claims are processed as per BMF
• Coordinate with SOM dep’t for no claim certificate & reporting
• Monitor and assurance of BMF compliance by the region.
• Maintaining effective financial control to reasonably prevent and detect fraud
• SPA for stock adjustment with appropriate supporting and identify reason to mitigate such cases
• Identify areas of simplification and standardization & implementation
Credit :
• Support credit team for
• ROI analysis of Dbs, timely renewal of B/G & receipt of blank cheques of Dbs
• Coordinate with sales team for financial data of customers for score card
• Reconciliation of customers account & dispute management
• Analyse D bank Liquidation ageing report on outstanding cases and take appropriate action • Market Visit Incl Db visit one in a month
• Follow up with Bank for BG confirmation
• Setting of credit limit and credit extension of ILS business as per DOA
• Appointment of Distributors
Statutory / legal compliances :
• Ensure internal control remain effective through compliance with internal requirements via the application of controls & due diligence processes
• Coordinate with Credit team for legal cases on account of receivables & consumer forum for providing documents and liaison with legal consultant
• Provide necessary support and documents for completion of Sales tax assessments and related compliance
• Coordinate with the sales team for collection of concessional sales tax forms from customers, thereby mitigating penal liability.
Financial Accounting / Audit :
• SPA for data integrity, accurate month end provisioning of expenses/schemes, periodic account closing and Monthly report by due date
• SPA for BSI on monthly basis
• Coordinate Internal, management & statutory and tax audits of the region.
• Providing accounting support to others streams.
Performance forecast and analysis :
• Commercial evaluation of contract with administrative service provider, capex and non-hydro carbon purchases
Stocks :
• Conduct physical verification and analyse and review discrepancies between book and physical stocks.
• Review stocks are correctly categorised in JDE.
• C&F visit – Once in quarter
Projects :
• Provide inputs, participate and support Finance project initiatives for its successful implementation.
Knowledge / Skills / Experience Education/Experience:
CA/ICWA or Equivalent with 3-4 years of experience. Graduate/Postgraduate in commerce with 7-8 years of experience may also be considered.
