Job Description
Management and control of R&D budget of the Acid Division.
Management of the R&D material and NPD specialist.
To test and evaluate present and new phosphoric acid products and bi-products.
To oversee the proper management of the phosphoric acid pilot R&D wing by performing regular benchmarking and product pilot work.
Assist and consult on operations improvement initiatives and fault finding.
Conduct ad-hoc investigations and perform pilot plant test runs as requested.
Manage Safety in the dedicated sections as appointed Section 16.2 manager in terms of Occupational health and Safety Act 85 of 1993.
To conduct phosphoric acid production beneficiation research with the main objective of developing new products, to support the product development model.
Experience in Phosphoric Acid Production and Research environment.
